About BatchMint

The problem it addresses

Image work rarely ends with one compression button. A real batch often needs orientation correction, a consistent maximum width, a format decision, a background for transparent pixels, a watermark, predictable filenames and a reviewable export. Doing those steps in separate upload-based tools adds repetition and makes the data boundary harder to understand.

BatchMint combines those operations in one fixed browser workflow. It is intended for ecommerce sellers, designers, developers and content teams preparing a modest batch of images before publishing them elsewhere.

What the current product does

• Accepts up to 20 JPEG, PNG or static WebP images in one batch.
• Outputs JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF.
• Resizes by maximum width without enlarging a smaller source.
• Searches for a target byte size for JPEG and WebP when the tested quality range can reach it.
• Adds text or transparent PNG/WebP logo watermarks with nine-grid or tiled placement.
• Renames outputs and exports individual files, a supported folder, ZIP volumes and a CSV report.

Why processing is local

Selected image bytes, decoded pixels, original filenames, watermark text and processing results remain in the page and local browser workers. BatchMint application requests do not contain those values. The site still downloads HTML, JavaScript, CSS, fonts and codec assets, and a codec that has not been cached can require a network connection.

This is a deliberately narrow privacy claim. Browser extensions, device software and any marketplace to which a user later uploads an exported file remain outside the BatchMint privacy boundary.

How quality claims are checked

BatchMint does not claim that one format is always smaller or that a target size is guaranteed. The public benchmark records exact codec versions, deterministic fixtures, encoder settings and output bytes. Marketplace guidance links to official sources and records the date and scope of each check.

Current limits

The deployed workspace does not support HEIC/HEIF, PSD, RAW, TIFF, video or animated-image input. It does not provide cloud collaboration, cross-device preset sync or direct publishing to Shopify, Etsy, Amazon or another marketplace. The 20-image limit protects a local workflow from uncontrolled memory and CPU pressure on ordinary devices.
