Editorial review policy
BatchMint content distinguishes implemented facts, reproducible measurements, official external requirements and editorial recommendations. Unsupported capabilities, invented performance claims and fabricated testimonials are not acceptable evidence.
Editorial standard
- Implemented product facts are checked against the current code, production build and test evidence.
- Measurements must be reproducible or clearly identified as an example, not a guarantee.
- Plans, beta ideas and unverified integrations are not presented as current capabilities.
- Marketing language must not override explicit limits, privacy boundaries or destination-platform requirements.

Shopify theme-image guidance can differ from product-media limits; Etsy rules should be checked before upload; Amazon Seller Central may require sign-in and category-specific rules may differ.

Fact, interpretation and recommendation
A quoted platform rule is treated as an external fact and linked to its official source. A BatchMint preset or workflow suggestion is labelled as a product default or recommendation, not as a platform requirement. Compression conclusions are limited to the tested fixtures and settings.
Review, updates and corrections
- Content pages show a last-reviewed date and are reviewed when product behavior, codec versions or cited platform rules change.
- Material corrections are added to the changelog rather than silently turning planned or unsupported behavior into a factual claim.
- Correction requests should include the page URL, the disputed statement and a primary source when available.
