Cookie Policy

BatchMint uses limited browser storage for saved settings and offline resources. This policy explains which technologies are cookies, which remain local, and which third-party services may be involved.

1. Cookies and local browser storage

Cookies are small values a website or service can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. BatchMint also uses browser storage technologies that are not cookies. This page distinguishes them so you can make an informed choice.

2. Essential security cookies

Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies when its security, traffic-management or abuse-prevention features require them. These cookies support delivery and protection of the site rather than image processing. BatchMint does not currently operate account, login or payment cookies.

3. IndexedDB (not a cookie)

If you save a preset or brand kit, BatchMint stores its settings and any optional local logo Blob in IndexedDB in the current browser profile. Selected source images and processing results are not saved in this library. These records are local and are not synchronized by BatchMint.

4. Preferences in Local Storage and Session Storage (not cookies)

When you use the light/dark theme switch, BatchMint stores the value light or dark under the Local Storage key batchmint-theme. This preference stays in the current browser profile, contains no image or sensitive data, and is removed when you clear the site's browser data.

Public content pages may cache the two-letter Cloudflare country code for the current browser session under batchmint-ad-country-v2 so the page does not repeat the same region check on every navigation. This value does not contain image data, filenames or watermark text. Google Privacy & Messaging stores and manages any regional advertising consent or opt-out choice in its own controls.

5. Service Worker and Cache Storage (not cookies)

The BatchMint Service Worker may cache the application shell and previously requested same-origin resources, including WASM codec files. This supports faster loading and offline reuse. Cached resources do not include selected image data, filenames or watermark text.

6. Cloudflare Web Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is currently enabled for aggregate traffic measurement. It is designed as privacy-focused analytics and does not rely on cookies or browser local storage to track visitors across sites. Cloudflare may still process technical request and beacon information needed to provide the service.

7. Google AdSense

The Google AdSense site script is not included in the initial HTML. Public content pages first request the same-origin Cloudflare `/cdn-cgi/trace` response and read only its country code to keep Chinese mainland traffic excluded. If the country cannot be established, Google handles the region through its own privacy controls.

Chinese mainland traffic does not load AdSense. Other regions load AdSense promptly so the published Google Privacy & Messaging controls can present the active European regulations message and US state privacy message where required. The BatchMint image-processing workspace never loads AdSense.

Visitors can manage consent and opt-out choices through the Google message shown for their region, browser controls or Google advertising controls. Third-party cookies already set by Google remain subject to those controls.

8. Services not currently active

PostHog is not currently integrated into the BatchMint website and is not listed as an active analytics or cookie provider. If the service configuration changes, this policy will be updated before the description is treated as current.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when storage behavior or service providers change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Questions can be sent to leidamin093@gmail.com.
